Dramas at a Glance
• A Heart Filled With Wonder - Mary must have wondered as the role of her Son unfolded before her eyes. Being the chosen of God was not as she imagined. Glory and suffering often walk hand in hand, as they did in Mary's life. Yet Mary surely would join the apostle Paul in declaring, "The sufferings are not worthy to be compared with the glory."

• As It is Written - When Habakkuk wrote his short book, did he have any idea of the impact it would have? When Paul wrote to the saints in Rome, did he realize that his words would ring from pulpits years later? The written word often lives longer than the author. The audience will come away with a deeper appreciation for the Word of God.

• Blessed Believer - It is easy to believe that God is the healer when we are healthy. But what happens to our faith when an unsaved loved one dies? John the Baptist spent his life preparing the way for the Messiah, only to be ignored in his most desperate hour. Blessed is he who trusts even when he does not understand.

• Life in Loafersville - This humorous analogy teaches a strong lesson on living the Christian life every day. On a cold winter day a traveler arrives in Loafersville to discover everyone is caught up in the shoe business, but no one wears shoes.

• Paying the Price - Noah built the ark. Moses supervised the building of the Tabernacle, and Jesus paid all to build the church. Whether you are beginning to build, in the middle of building or nearing the end, remind your congregation of the need in an appealing, entertaining manner.

• Role Play - God gave Jeremiah a role to fill before he was born. Likewise, God had a role planned for you. Can you grasp the concept that God gave you the perfect personality and the needed gifts to become what he envisioned? Watch from the balcony of heaven and the auditorium of earth as this comedy of life unfolds in three stages.

• School Days - This hilarious allegory helps us see ourselves as others see us. Are we bearing the burdens of the Lord or burdens we have manufactured to impress our peers?

• Tell Me His Name Again - Based on the story behind the writing of the song, "Tell Me His Name Again." A Chinese lady is retuning to her village carrying with her the message of the One who brought salvation. She is almost home when she realizes she cannot remember the name of her Savior. There is nothing to do but return to the Mission, for she must know His name.

• The Days of Pentecost - Portrays the latter-rain outpouring of the Holy Ghost at the beginning of the twentieth century. Many of the people and events are taken from the pages of The Azusa Street Papers and other history books.

• The Struggle for the Throne - Bring to life the struggle between mercy and judgment for the souls of those who have fallen into sin's trap. Why do some find mercy while others suffer judgment? The answer becomes clear as Mercy and Judgment take on human form and struggle for the throne.

• This is My Story - Moses, John Bunyan, and Fanny Crosby come to life in "The Gost Writers Odyssey" to remind us that "there is no new thing under the sun." A PowerPoint presentation on the accompanying CD adds dimension and reality to the drama.

• We Get Up - Of all Jesus' disciples, we relate most to Peter. He was constantly falling down and getting up. Watching Peter is like looking in a mirror, except it is funnier when Peter falls than when we fall.

• What If? - What if Mary had lived in our day? What if she did not want the inconvenience of a pregnancy? What if Jesus had never been born? We know that God would not have allowed this to happen, yet we cannot help but wonder how history is being altered as millions of babies are being aborted.
