When my husband was elected General Superintendent, I had to give up being director of the Prayer Hour, and [Donna} stepped in. I was one of the co-hosts for the Hour of Prayer on KYCC Radio in Stockton, California. When preparing for the weekly program, I would use a theme and then end with a devotional. After using several resources, I thought, “Why don’t we have Spirit-filled women compile a daily devotional?”
